Price comparison: where you're above the market price

Price comparison puts your prices side by side with Google's market benchmark for each product. The data comes from Merchant Center and is updated weekly.

Price comparison in the merchant portal: distribution above and below the benchmark, the largest gaps and Google's price opportunities

Two lists, two meanings

Furthest above the benchmark shows what other shops charge for the same product, sorted by the largest difference. That's where your room to manoeuvre lies.

Price opportunities is something else: not the market price, but the price at which Google expects more clicks. It can be below the benchmark.

Google provides at most 20 examples per country — the lists are never complete. And the suggestions are Google's, not ours: you decide what a product should cost.
