How to set it up
Tag each product in the local inventory feed with a custom label that reflects its stock level — for example high / medium / low — or its merchandising priority (top seller, clearance, seasonal).
Build Shopping or Performance Max campaigns segmented by those labels and bid each segment to its goal: aggressive on overstock and clearance, defensive on near-out-of-stock SKUs.
Refresh the feed at least daily so the labels track real inventory. Then review per-label ROAS weekly and rebalance bids — that's where ILT compounds over time.
